Every now and then you come across a little gem on the internet.
I was delighted to find Karli Florisson’s podcast “Wild: Stories from Western Australia’s Past” the other day. It is a wonderful collection of podcasts about various aspects of WA’s history, with a broad scope but also with an Esperance perspective. Check it out here: Wild: Stories from Western Australia’s past on Apple Podcasts
I was drawn to the podcast because of its inclusion of Laurence Sinclair’s story, which you will find here: Wild: Stories from Western Australia’s past: Laurence Sinclair and Norseman on Apple Podcasts
There are other interesting segments dealing with the Pilbara Strike (which I know something about from having worked in the Pilbara) and Brian Burke (something else I remember from when I worked in government).
Karli has done some impressive research and she delivers the podcast herself. Listen to a few and I hope you agree with me that she has a wonderful speaking voice and delivers in a way that holds the listener’s interest.
Check out Wild!
